After looking again, yes, yes it does...

What happened was that I tried it with the new patch after I read this post, and it didn't 'immediately'. So I hit refresh myself BEFORE I could notice it indeed does refresh, it just takes about 3 seconds the first time you enter the screen.

Maybe add the word 'working' or 'loading' so people know it's doing something?

I suggest adding (Added 1.23) to the OP title and locking this thread. (Although only half of the OP suggestion was added...) :]

I admit that the life thing isn't really the best solution, however I don't think we had time to look at that issue then and now it's what it is.

The best solution would be to ask the dead player if he wants to buy a life (at a greater cost than standard) and then respawn, or he can just wait until someone finds a life.

In local, there should have been a much greater respawn timer from death than it is (the time now is the death animation I think), dying in a local coop is a frustrating thing, cause the confusion when the camera just snaps can kill the player again and also the already living player...

Is there a way to have the screen pan more slowly to center on the living character instead of just popping over? I haven't played local yet, so I'm not sure what it's like now.


Also, in regards to the ideas of making 0 lives respawn possible, I like the idea of being able to buy a life at a higher cost. Or you could even have the cost start higher than normal, and slowly tick down by one gold every second. So the longer the player waits the cheaper it is for them to come back. This would allow players with low gold amounts the ability to re-spawn after a while too.

Oh wow. Yeah. I see what you mean. I thought it was an unfinished feature because nothing came up when the window opened.
Yes. I agree with this suggestion. Having it auto-refresh when the window is opened seems like it would literally take one line of code calling the already working effect of the refresh button.

Hello there Hammerwatch Devs. :D

Could you add a Suggestions Forum section?
It's not a big deal or anything, just something organizational that it is good to do on a forum so you don't see all the (suggestion) posts mixed in with the general posts.
It also helps you the devs sort through and find suggestions, and helps visitors to your forum quickly see and scan whats already been suggested so there are less repeat suggestions (ideally, when they take the time to actually look before suggesting. :p ).

Another couple thing I noticed that weren't listed here.

- You now see how much more mana you need to use an ability if you press it early. Both above your head showing how much more you need (in blue), and down in your mana bar showing how much total it costs (in red). Before it used to say "No Mana" or something.
-IP address is no longer shown in the hosting screen. (Likely for Let's Players like myself. THANKS! :D )

I can understand the need to nerf the ranger, but two nerfs??? Slowing it while firing was enough in my opinion to make it 2 times harder to play the ranger (which is good actually). Lowering its range seems a bit much.

Suggestions...
- Would really love to see a Player Stat screen, showing your base and variation values for health, movement speed, etc. So you can see how many +5% bonuses you have and what your base would be without them.
- Maybe also track "Secrets Found" on the statistics screen?
